Size & fit
Pick the glove weight by use (16 oz suits most adults for sparring). Headgear and groin guard come in S, M, L or XL: measure your head just above the eyebrows and choose the groin guard by waist size.
Name print & embroidery
Choose Screen Print, or Embroidery for an extra $15, then type your name in the order notes at checkout. Short text of up to about 10 characters reads best.
Care & storage
Air your gear out after every session, wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry away from direct heat. Always train with hand wraps to keep the lining fresh.
Muted Slate Gray Across All Three Pieces
Slate gray is the understated choice in the Cleto Reyes sets. The dark gray lace-up gloves, cheek-protector headgear and groin guard match each other closely and hide everyday gym wear.
Fitting Guide for the Gray Set
Pick each size on its own: Gloves Size 6 oz to 18 oz, Headguard Size S, M, L or XL, and Groinguard Size S, M, L or XL. As a rule, adults spar in 16 oz, lighter adults in 14 oz and heavyweights in 18 oz; 12 oz suits bag and pads, and 6 oz to 10 oz suits kids. Headgear follows head circumference above the eyebrows, and the groin guard follows waist size.
Why Lace-Up Gloves Suit a Sparring Set
Laces pull the cuff evenly around the wrist, giving a compact, locked-in feel that many boxers prefer for hard rounds. Tape over the knot to keep it flat.
Slate Gray: Quick Answers
Is slate gray lighter than the silver set?
No, it is darker. The Pure Silver set is a pale silver-gray.
