Size & fit
Pick the glove weight by use (16 oz suits most adults for sparring). Headgear and groin guard come in S, M, L or XL: measure your head just above the eyebrows and choose the groin guard by waist size.
Name print & embroidery
Choose Screen Print, or Embroidery for an extra $15, then type your name in the order notes at checkout. Short text of up to about 10 characters reads best.
Care & storage
Air your gear out after every session, wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry away from direct heat. Always train with hand wraps to keep the lining fresh.
Golden yellow stands out on the gym floor without tipping into neon. This Cleto Reyes set covers gloves, headgear and groin guard in the one warm shade.
Inside the Golden Yellow Set
- Golden yellow lace-up gloves, 6 oz to 18 oz.
- Golden yellow cheek-protector headgear, S to XL.
- Golden yellow groin guard, S to XL.
Golden Yellow Gear Care Questions
Does a light color mark easily?
Yellow shows scuffs sooner than black or brown. Wipe the pieces down after training and let them air-dry.
Can the gloves be laced without help?
Lace-up gloves are easiest tied by a partner or coach, who can set even tension across the wrist.
Matching Weight and Fit to the Boxer
For adult sparring, 16 oz is the usual choice, with 14 oz for lighter adults and 18 oz for heavyweights. Pick 12 oz for bag and pad sessions, or 6 oz to 10 oz for kids and small hands. Headgear goes by head circumference above the eyebrows; the groin guard goes by waist. Prefer gloves only? Browse Cleto Reyes boxing gloves.
