Size & fit
Choose glove weight by use: 12 oz for bag and pad work, 14 oz all-round, 16 oz for sparring (most adults), 18 oz for heavyweights. Try gloves on with hand wraps.
Name print & embroidery
Choose Screen Print, or Embroidery for an extra $15, then type your name in the order notes at checkout. Short text of up to about 10 characters reads best.
Care & storage
Air your gear out after every session, wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry away from direct heat. Always train with hand wraps to keep the lining fresh.
Red Laces on a Classic Grant Layout
White back, black palm, red accents at the thumb and cuff, and red laces to pull it together. It is a clean, classic fight-glove layout that stands out under gym lights. The round Grant logo sits on the back of the hand.
The red laces are more than decoration. On a lace-up glove they are the most visible part of the cuff, so a contrasting color makes it easy to check that both gloves are tied evenly before a round.
Which Weight for the Red-Laced Grant?
Pick from 6 oz to 18 oz in every even size. As a rough guide, 16 oz covers most adult sparring, 14 oz suits lighter adults, and 12 oz handles pad and bag days. If you prefer to strap in without help, choose Velcro instead of laces. Name printing or embroidery is optional.
For a full matching kit, see our Grant boxing sets.
Red Lace Grant Glove Questions
If I choose Velcro, do I lose the red accents?
No, the red thumb and cuff accents stay; only the closure changes from laces to a strap.
Is this a good pair for pad work?
Yes, Grant's compact, close-to-the-hand feel is popular for pad work.
