Choose glove weight by use: 12 oz for bag and pad work, 14 oz all-round, 16 oz for sparring (most adults), 18 oz for heavyweights. Try gloves on with hand wraps.

Care & storage
Air your gear out after every session, wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry away from direct heat. Always train with hand wraps to keep the lining fresh.

A Good Royal Blue Pick for Juniors and Adults
This colorway works well for younger boxers, and the smaller weights make that easy: 6 oz, 8 oz and 10 oz suit kids and very small hands. Adults have 12 oz, 14 oz, 16 oz and 18 oz to choose from. For sparring, most adults use 16 oz.
Laces or Velcro for the Royal Blue Pair?
For kids, Velcro is usually the better choice so they can get them on without help. Adults who have a coach handy may prefer laces. Both are available.
